We believe in the power of storytelling to entertain, challenge perceptions and bring people together.
The Queer Content Fund is being established to support the development of compelling LGBTQIA+ stories across television, film, podcasts and digital media, helping original ideas find their voice and reach wider audiences.
Representation matters. The stories we see, hear and share help shape how we understand one another.
But bringing new ideas to life takes investment, particularly at the earliest stages of development, when creative projects can struggle to secure support.
We want to help change that.
Our ambition is to champion authentic LGBTQIA+ storytelling that reaches beyond the community, builds empathy and contributes to a more inclusive cultural landscape.
And we believe those stories should be as diverse as the community itself. Joyful, funny, surprising, challenging, moving and entertaining.
The Queer Content Fund aims to provide development funding, creative support and industry connections to help original LGBTQIA+ projects progress from initial concepts towards production.
We want to support a broad range of genres and formats, from documentaries and factual entertainment to scripted stories, podcasts and digital-first content.
Our focus is on projects that combine strong creative ideas with the potential to reach audiences, encourage understanding and make a meaningful difference.
Whether you're a creator with an idea, a potential funding partner or an organisation interested in collaborating, we'd like to hear from you.
